Mogadishu, 23, 2024; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who returned to the country, had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Mr. Andreas Kravik who returned to the capital Mogadishu.
The meeting discussed the relationship between the two countries, peace, security, fighting, movement and the areas liberated from the Khawarij.
The President of the Republic participated in the race where Norway stands by Somalia, in efforts to maintain security and build a government. Also, the President urged Norway to increase its role, something that showed the impact of climate change, the nationality of Somalia and the region.
For his part, Norway's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the progress made by the government, especially in security and government building, noting that Norway will continue to travel and support.
